Do we have a problem with idiots?

  Here we are almost a month after the IRS targeting scandal was discovered and Eric Holder assured us that the DOJ would get to the bottom of this incident. Well so far they don’t appear to be doing much of anything.

   Congress has had its hearings and we got a bit of info. Mostly from the inspector general. We went from hearing that there were two rogue agents to finding that as many as 88 agents were involved.

   Yesterday however we found out that the head of FBI had no clue who is leading up the investigation, nor who they have spoken with. Basically Mr. Mueller didn’t know a damned thing. That of course leads us to one of two conclusions. Either he is an incompetent administrator or there is no serious investigating going on. Today we found out that the FBI has yet to interview anyone from the groups who were targeted by the IRS. That’s pretty much like not interviewing the eyewitnesses to a major crime for a month or more.

   How does the establishment in Washington expect any respect or trust from the American people when the people in charge don’t know what is going on? Time after time those in charge have lied, stonewalled and claimed ignorance of every single one of the current scandals. The worst part is that they actually expect us to buy these lies and tolerate their incompetence.

   I don’t know about anyone else, but I am getting the feeling that our country is being run by idiots.
