It’s Politics as usual in DC when it comes to IRS hearings.

Today the head of the division of the IRS responsible for the political targeting scandal will be testifying before Congress. As usual and apparently routine for officials of this administration she will be pleading the 5th, so she doesn’t have to lie to Congress. That apparently wasn’t a concern the last 4 times she appeared, where she provided incomplete information to the committee at least four times last year.

As is the rule, more than the exception under the current regime, she will providing no information of any value to the hearings. This is a pattern under the Obama administration. We got nowhere on Fast and Furious with Eric Holder. We have been stonewalled for months on Benghazi and the DOJ is trying, unsuccessfully, to justify its spying on reporters of the AP (and now apparently Fox News).

There is a policy of lies, deceit and corruption in this administration so rampant that it will be amazing if we don’t get a decent book or movie out of it, similar to Watergate. People tend to forget news items rather quickly, but when you throw it the Dept. of energy loans to companies like Solyndra, with political ties directly to the White House, you have yourself an administration that mirrors Chicago politics of the 50′s, 60′s and 70′s.

It’s a sad day in our country, when the public ignores criminal behavior in Washington, DC. Sadly though, most of the media spends more time covering the First Lady’s visits to schools than they do the real news going on in the halls of government in our nation’s capitol.
